A telehealth intervention aimed at cardiac patients helped reduce depression and cut hospital readmissions by nearly one-third.


The study found that patients completing the telehealth program had lower scores on standardized tests for depression, anxiety, and stress.

The best part: the program’s costs were offset in as little as six months.
